Nathan Lilley, PT, MPT, OCS, CSCS: Co-Owner, Director of Orthopedic Extremity Therapy
From a very early age, orthopedics, sports medicine and human anatomy have always be a huge interest for Nate. Raised in Colorado, he had a good idea in high school that he would pursue a degree in orthopedic medicine or physical therapy. Due to a serious knee injury and subsequent reconstructive surgery he suffered his senior year of high school, his interest in Sports medicine/Orthopedics became the primary focus of his studies. For that reason, he chose Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri. While at Rockhurst, Nate was a student athlete and earned his Bachelor's degree in Biology as well as his Master's degree in Physical Therapy before returning home to Colorado to pursue his career in orthopedics.
Nate has been in the orthopedic clinical setting for the last 16 years. In 2004, the National Strength and Conditioning Association recognized him as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). In 2005, Nate was qualified to sit for a specialist certification examination through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists (ABPTS). After passing this examination, Nate was formally recognized as a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). In 2015 the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists recognized and awarded him for his continued commitment to the profession and his dedication to Orthopedics. Nate also completed certification in dry needling through Kinetacore in 2015. Nate has been a co-owner/clinic director of Physio Pro since 2007.
Over the years, he has worked with numerous high school, collegiate as well as local professional athletes. He has developed and implemented the "Physio Pro ACL Performance Enhancement Program" and has released instructional DVDs on ACL rehabilitation principles. Nate instituted Physio Pro's Wintervention program which was born from his love of the mountains and snowriding. Nate also developed and directs the Run-Smart program.
