Meet Our Staff

Hannah Johnson, PT, DPT, OCS

Hannah graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Denver. She went on to earn her clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from The University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 2007. In 2010, following 6 months of focused study, Hannah was qualified to sit for and passed a specialist certification examination through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists. She is one of only 130 physical therapists in Colorado who are formally recognized as a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). She remains actively involved with her professional association and is committed to continuing education in order to provide the most evidence-based treatment available.

Hannah has contributed to literature for clinicians and patients alike. She assisted in writing and editing a case study that was published in the Journal of Manual and Manipulative Therapy in addition to writing numerous articles about common orthopedic injuries, injury prevention strategies, and the role of physical therapy that were published in a community magazine in Evergreen, CO.

Hannah's treatment philosophy focuses on patient-centered care that is tailored to the individual's unique presentation, goals, and needs. She emphasizes manual therapy, specific exercise prescription, and a mechanical approach to treatment, as appropriate. She is actively pursuing post-graduate certification in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT), an effective and evidence-based method for the treatment of the spine and extremities.

Hannah is a native of Colorado and was incredibly fortunate to grow up in Winter Park. Outside of the clinic, she and her husband, Tucker, enjoy their friends and family, food and wine (or beer!), travel, design, art, and architecture. They are outdoors as much as possible with their son, Rhett, and their two dogs, Layla and Redding.
